Senior Year Showcase – SCAD 2022

Welcome to a page dedicated to my final year at the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD)—a year full of discovery, teamwork, and creative growth. This portfolio highlights work from three major classes: Studio I, Studio II, and Intro to 3D Animation.

In Studio I, I collaborated with a classmate on a challenging FX simulation project: a wrecking ball crashing through the wall of a real gym in Savannah, where my teammate works. The goal was to study and recreate the physical behavior of destruction—how walls break, how debris moves, and how gravity influences the wreckage. We poured in long hours researching, testing, and fine-tuning the simulation. This project was both technically demanding and creatively fulfilling—and it wouldn’t have been possible without the shared effort and inspiration of my teammate.

In Intro to 3D Animation, I took on the task of recreating the iconic interrogation scene from The Dark Knight trilogy. I designed stylized puppet versions of Batman, the Joker, and Detective Gordon, and brought the scene to life through detailed animation, lighting, and cinematic camera work. It was a chance to explore character movement, timing, and emotional storytelling in a stylized way.

Finally, in Studio II, I brought both projects together into one cinematic vision. I recreated the Batcave environment, modeling key elements like the Tumbler and Batpod. I combined the Batcave setting with my animated interrogation scene, creating a cohesive and immersive sequence that blended environment design, animation, and storytelling—all in one final project.

These experiences represent the heart of my senior year: combining imagination with technique, storytelling with simulation, and collaboration with passion.

Thanks for stopping by—I hope you enjoy exploring the work!
