MY Journey

Former Disney College Program Cast Member
I worked as a Custodial Cast Member at Disney’s Hollywood Studios during my time in the Disney College Program here in Florida. I had the unique opportunity to also support operations across all four iconic theme parks—Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom—as well as Disney Springs, Typhoon Lagoon, and the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex.

One of the highlights of my role was becoming a Certified Water Artist, a skill I’m proud of. It allowed me to create magical moments for guests by bringing art, joy, and surprise to the parks—something I’ll always value. I learned a lot from the experience, especially how to deliver excellent guest service to people from all around the world.

One of the most magical parts of my Disney journey was serving as a Water Artist at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, creating characters from Mickey and Friends with just a broom and water before Fantasmic! I was also trained in making the iconic Leaf Mickey, crafted entirely from fallen leaves—a small but meaningful touch of magic.

I shared these moments across all four Walt Disney World parks, plus Disney Springs, Typhoon Lagoon, and ESPN Wide World of Sports. It was an incredible honor to be part of the magic during both the 100 Years of Wonder celebration and the 50th Anniversary of Walt Disney World.

These experiences reminded me how even the smallest details can leave a lasting impact—and that’s the spirit I carry into every creative project I take on.
